We welcome children to our preschool program just as they are. Each child brings their own unique qualities to share with us and others. We encourage each child to explore and learn at their own pace. Our programs allow children to choose from many different activities that are based on an emergent curriculum that makes the learning environment fun and exciting. Through this creative environment children will learn many developmental skills necessary for kindergarten.
The Pre-K program was developed by working with kindergarten teachers in our community to ensure children are prepared for the high standards that are expected of them. The program combines phonics, writing, math skills and much more.
Children are encouraged to be independent and are given many opportunities to foster independence. Empathy and responsibility are learned through the care of the school animals. Children are given turns helping with the daily care of the animals. Responsibility is made to be fun and a learning activity.
